Tom Wilson | Chief Executive Officer

Tom Wilson, CA, CPA, is a seasoned business leader and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience across multiple industries. As CEO of Gemini Capital Inc., he has established the company as a trusted asset-based lender serving small to medium-sized businesses.
Tom began his career at KPMG’s Financial Advisory Services Group, specializing in bankruptcy and insolvency. In 1998, he and his wife Kari acquired an undercapitalized Hyundai dealership — their first successful turnaround — which led to the purchase of a collision centre and four additional dealerships across six brands. He went on to serve as President and CEO of Ericksen Auto Group for over a decade, overseeing several brands including Nissan, Infiniti, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and Porsche, before successfully merging the group with Go Auto in 2009. Tom has also served as Owner and Dealer Principal of Mercedes-Benz Heritage Valley, Melody Ford, Chalet Chevrolet GMC, Arrow Volkswagen, Cranbrook Kia, and Island Motorcycle Company, and as CEO of Canadian National Auto Loans, where he built the company into a leading alternative auto financing provider.

Van Colaco | President

Van Colaco, CA, CPA, is a financial and operational executive with over 20 years of leadership experience across public accounting and automotive retail. He began his career at KPMG LLP, where he spent six years specializing in taxation, financial reporting, and strategic tax planning for private enterprises. Van moved into the automotive sector as Group Controller at AutoCanada Income Fund, overseeing multi-dealership accounting operations and leading the organization’s conversion from an income fund to a corporate structure. He later joined Go Auto as Director of Accounting and Director of Operations, driving dealership performance and business expansion across one of Canada’s largest automotive retail groups. Van subsequently partnered to acquire and operate a portfolio of automotive and motorsport dealerships before assuming his current role as President of Gemini Capital Inc., where he continues to align financial strategy with operational execution across both corporate and entrepreneurial environments.
