Tom Wilson | President

Tom Wilson is a highly accomplished business leader, CA, CPA, and entrepreneur, with over 25 years of experience in several industries. As the CEO of Gemini Capital Inc., he has established the company as a reliable asset-based lender for small to medium-sized businesses. Tom has extensive experience in the automotive industry, he is the Owner and Dealer Principal of Island Motorcycle Company which sells BMW, Ducati, Triumph, Indian, Zero, Royal Enfield, and Slingshot. Tom also serves as the Co-Owner of Seamed Services, a leading provider of time-sensitive medical services to the cruise line industry.

Tom’s business career started in the 1990’s with KPMG’s Financial Advisory Services Group specializing in bankruptcy and insolvency. In 1998, Tom and his wife Kari acquired an undercapitalized Hyundai dealership. Along with some great people, some luck, and a solid plan, it was their first “turn around” project. This success presented several opportunities to expand, and they were able to purchase a collision centre and four more dealerships with six different brands.
Tom also served as President and CEO of Ericksen Auto Group for over a decade and was the Dealer Principal of several brands including Nissan, Infiniti, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, Smart, Volkswagen, and Porsche, before successfully merging Ericksen Auto Group with Go Auto in 2009. Tom was the former owner of Mercedes-Benz Heritage Valley, which he sold to Auto Canada, and the former owner of Melody Ford and Chalet Chevrolet GMC, which he sold to Nelson Ford and Jack Carter Auto Group, respectively. Tom was also the former CEO of Canadian National Auto Loans and established the company as a leading provider of auto alternative financing solutions.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys watching his three sons, Skyler, Griffin, and Wyatt, play sports, and cycling with his wife of over thirty years, and walking the family dog. Tom is a die-hard Edmonton Oilers fan and can often be found wearing a custom pair of Oiler’s coloured sneakers on game days.

Griffin Wilson | Auctions and Asset Sales Manager

Griffin Wilson is a fourth-year student at Yale University, completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. While at Yale, he has taken several courses in different fields, including Economics, History, and Political Science. Griffin is a first-year counsellor at Yale and is chiefly responsible for ensuring a smooth transition for all first-year students, while also being a leading representative for his college. In the summer of 2023, Griffin helped establish Gemini Capital Inc. with his dad, Tom. Additionally, In September 2022, while studying at Yale University, Griffin co-founded DoubleVision Software with his identical twin brother, Skyler, and their friend, Marisa.

Griffin Grew up in Edmonton and now resides in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. While at Yale, Griffin was a member of the Ivy League Champion men’s lacrosse team. Griffin is an avid runner and triathlete competing in marathons and ultra-distance races, including the Sinister 7 Ultra and Bucking Hell 50k Race. Griffin is passionate about reading and writing, enjoying both fiction and non-fiction books and hopes to write a novel one day.
